What To Bring For Football Game Tailgate Parties
If you plan to go to an NFL football game, you probably plan on having a tailgate party. They’re just as much fun as the game itself, so plan ahead and be prepared. This is my list of recommended items to bring to a football game tailgate party:
- pickup truck (with functional tailgate)
- beer (put it in the ice chest, with the ice. See below.)
- radio (the one it the truck usually suffices, assuming it has one that works)
- charcoal BBQ grill
- charcoal/lighter fluid/lighter
- more beer
- steaks, potato chips, hot dogs, buns, mustard, etc…
- ice chest
- ice (put it in the chest)
- lawn chairs (unless everybody’s got their own pickup truck to sit on)
- even more beer
- sunscreen (if yer a snowflake, like me)
- friends
- girlfriends (optional, possibly a bad idea)
- kids (also optional, also possibly a bad idea)
- a football (preferrably a light-up football for when it gets dark)
- camera (The more beer everrybody drinks, the more pictures you can take to make fun of them with later.)
- beer
A bullhorn is always fun, too, but also another possible bad idea.
