Mobile Phone Use
We really would be lost without mobiles phone yet it is only comparatively recently that we had never even heard of them! What would you do if someone took your mobile phone away from you and said you could never use it again? Well exactly this has happened in parts of Asia where governments have banned the use of Blackberrys!
They are worried that the data held on them is so well encrypted that it could be used by terrorists to communicate without the authorities never knowing what they are saying. A complete ban does seem harsh but maybe it’s the only way of knowing for sure that they are not being abused.
Blackberry Unlock codes are now freely available so these criminals can easily unlock their mobiles and move to different suppliers at the drop of a hat. This has added to the concerns of the said governments and contributed to them enforcing a ban.
