Precious And Worth More Than Gold Are The Artefacts And Structures Of Old
The artefacts and structures of old are precious. They tell a story about a group of people and of how they lived. Treasures of literature and culture are engraved in their walls and tablets or parchments. They are evidences of who these people were. They show the beginnings of a group, a town, a city and a nation. They plot each success and downfall of kingdoms. They tell us who we are and what we have become. It is for this reason that they are worth more than gold. To give respect and honour to these structures, artefacts and race the State has created the heritage grant. This grant is awarded to individuals, people or organizations that seek to preserve and conserve the national heritage. The purpose of the grant is noble. It underlies the premise that if we know our beginnings we will be able to understand our present situation. With this enlightenment, we can stand proud knowing that our forefathers laid the foundation for who we are today and of what we have become.
